THE FXBG RUNDOWN

September 17, 2026

Welcome to the first edition of The FXBG Rundown—your quick guide to what’s happening across Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and the surrounding area.

Every Thursday, we’ll bring you upcoming events, family activities, local highlights, and a few ideas to make planning your weekend easier.

But first: If September still feels more like summer, here are a few air-conditioned options around Greater Fredericksburg.

🧗 Urban Air Adventure Park

Let the kids burn off some energy indoors with trampolines, climbing attractions, obstacle-style activities, and other active-play options.

🏊 Jeff Rouse Swim & Sport Center

📚 Central Rappahannock Regional Library

For a completely free option, visit one of CRRL’s branches across Fredericksburg, Stafford, and Spotsylvania. Browse the children’s areas, pick out some books, or check the calendar for weekend programs.

🍕 Chuck E. Cheese

Arcade games, pizza, trampolines, and indoor climbing areas make this an easy option for younger children when it’s too hot for the playground.
